As the founding principal of Sabal Crest Academy, it is my honor to welcome you to our school community. We are excited to begin this journey together and create a place where every student feels valued, connected, challenged, and inspired to succeed.
Sabal Crest Academy is a K–8 academy serving students in kindergarten through eighth grade. During our inaugural year, the 2026–2027 school year, we will welcome students in kindergarten through seventh grade, with eighth grade joining our school community the following year. As our founding Seahawks grow, so will Sabal Crest Academy.
At Sabal Crest Academy, our community will SOAR together, building resilience and empowering every student to rise and thrive along their journey. Guided by our motto, “Lead with Respect. Learn with Purpose. Soar with Pride,” we believe that every student has the ability to learn, grow, and succeed.
Located in the heart of Nocatee, Sabal Crest Academy reflects the unique character of our coastal community. Our school’s name tells part of that story. The Sabal Palm, Florida’s state tree, symbolizes strength and growth, while the word Crest represents the crest of a wave, celebrating our connection to the waterways and natural beauty of Northeast Florida.
Our vision is to cultivate a safe and connected community where respect guides our actions, responsibility shapes our choices, and resilience strengthens our growth, helping every student find success along their path. The foundation of our culture is built upon our SOAR expectations:

As Seahawks, we are proudly represented by Surge the Seahawk, our school mascot. The term “Seahawk” is a common nickname for the osprey, a bird native to our coastal region that is known for its strength, focus, and ability to soar above the shoreline. Like the seahawk, we encourage our students to aim high, persevere through challenges, and approach each day with confidence and purpose.
One of the traditions that unites our school community is the Wings Up gesture. Wings Up represents connection, encouragement, and Seahawk pride. Throughout our school, students and staff use Wings Up to celebrate accomplishments, support one another, and strengthen our sense of belonging. More than a gesture, it serves as a reminder that we are stronger together and that every member of our school community has the potential to soar.
Our school colors further reflect the spirit of Sabal Crest Academy. Intracoastal Navy, Sea Glass Aqua, and Coastal Blue draw inspiration from our coastal surroundings, while Sunrise Gold and Coastal White serve as accent colors that symbolize opportunity, optimism, and new beginnings.
